INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

We invite you to explore the relationship between your breathing habits and your health with our free Psychophysiology of Breathing Self-assessment. Please submit your self-assessment for a free 20 min consultation (virtual or by phone) to answer your questions, and to determine if a full assessment is warranted.

Breathing Behaviour Assessment

90 min  From the moment of your birth, your breath learns. Breathing habits affect & reflect health, performance, and consciousness every second of the day. Our psychophysiological breathing analysis  emphasises the relationship dynamics of breathing mechanics for achieving stable respiration, emotional regulation, trauma integration, and improved stamina rather than prescriptive forms of breathing. You will gain not only actionable insights into your physiology, but notice immediate and meaningful results.  We will also discuss an appropriate learning plan based on your discoveries and aspirations.

Biofeedback tools include: Educational Capnometry, and may include HRV, Oximetry, EMG and Neurofeedback as required. This session is always an eye opener!  Dress comfortably as we may include movement practices in your assessment.

NOTE: Virtual assessments include a one-week rental of the CapnoTrainer. To ensure it arrives and you have time to upload the software before your session, book two weeks in advance.

Learning Plans

Personalised strategic follow-up sessions target specific behaviours each week. Awareness of conscious and unconscious learning is centre-stage as you identify, unlearn, & replace dysfunctional breathing habits. We will explore how your body experiences learning, safety, stress, strain, and then create corrective  learning moments. Your learning plan will emphasise relational dynamics in breathing chemistry & mechanics for achieving stable respiration, emotional regulation, trauma integration, and improved stamina rather than prescriptive forms of breathing.

Follow Up Sessions

These sessions can be 30-120 minutes in duration, depending on your goals, progress, and what your nervous system can handle. We are careful to honour what your body and mind can endure. Learning plans vary in length depending on your circumstances and CO2 levels at rest. Most clients find 15-20 contact hours, paired with daily personal practice time, creates the change they desire. Children usually need only 6-8 private sessions. You can book one appointment at a time or commit to a full learning package and save. See booking page for pricing.

Somatic Breath Therapy

This therapy is facilitated in a series of one-on-one sessions with a skilled practitioner (usually two hours in length) and also through group sessions, classes and/or workshops utilising several trained facilitators. The individual work is ideal for deepening personal awareness, identifying core patterns, limiting beliefs, and anchoring an open, healthy breath over the long term. Once you understand the way this work affects you, group approaches become a bridge enhancing social skills and aid in the integration of relational dynamics with the outside world.
