After 20 years, LV's career as a maternal & mental health professional with a special focus on integrative therapies for trauma recovery led to an exploration of psychedelic breathwork. Her decades of supporting women during childbirth ensured she was already intimate with the power of breath. This began her calling as an advocate for recovery.

LV learned to honour the wisdom of the human body, the transformative power of birth, and the formative imprints of transitional experiences on identity. There, LV learned to listen, to witness, to dance with change, and to hold sacred and intimate space for others.
The potency of her personal experience with psychedelic breathwork was pivotal, both personally and professionally.

Currently, LV combines respiratory science with robust explorations of breath practices to measure their impact on presence and performance. In addition to teaching her own courses, LV is on faculty at The Professional School of Behavioral Health Sciences and previously served on the faculty at Numa Somatics.
LV studied dance for for a decade, and then taught creative/interpretive dance and ballet. Dance was her first experience with bodily autonomy, movement, and therapy. She used to dance as a child to process grief, to find comfort, and to recreate safety in her body.

LV inspires people to create and sustain individual and community wellness, one breath at a time.

Angellah-"My journey in breath work since 2006, where I was trained in SKY breathing,( Sudarshan Kriya breathing @ The Art of Living Institute) has provided the basis in diaphragmatic breathing where its applications were applied in my work in CISM ( critical incident stress management for individuals and groups) proving to provide effective techniques during a crisis lead me to discover reflexive breathing to restore optimal respiration when a crisis is over and “normal” life resumes. Since becoming a breathwork practitioner in 2006 I’ve had the privilege of working closely with individuals, groups, and organizations in their goals of managing PTSD, and other trauma-related disorders, and now working with individuals in better managing their mental health as well as restoring physiology for optimal respiration for overall better health as I intern with Conspire Health. I am currently completing studies in the CBBA program at the School of Better Physiology. I look forward to continuing my work in CISM while bringing science-based learning of Breathing Behaviors to restore self to a deeper, solid understanding of how one’s physiology is programmable and therefore able to learn how we can change smallest of behaviors, like the breath, for substantial health gains in every area of life."
